After your order is placed, it usually ships within 2-3 business days, based on credit card approval. Most of our customers in the contiguous United States receive their orders in just 4-7 business days, after shipping notification. Some items may be arriving in separate shipments. Orders may arrive from multiple locations as some items are shipped from our main location and some are shipped directly from our suppliers.

Out of Stock Items

Items currently unavailable will ship in 4-6 weeks (20-30 business days) after the order date. Any longer than this and you will be contacted and given the choice to cancel the order for full credit. Contact us if you have an immediate shipping need and we will provide you with an estimated delivery time. Every attempt will be made to get purchases to you as quickly as possible! If you ordered several out of stock items, we will ship each item as soon as it becomes available for no additional shipping charge. These items will be ground shipped.

Shipping Charges

Your shipping charges will appear in the box marked "shipping charges" at checkout for your convenience. Shipping rates are based on the total dollars of the order for the time being. However, we are working towards a shipping system that bases delivery charges on the total weight of your order. Until we have a new system in place, we will ship your products at the lowest possible rate to arrive in the least amount of time. Should we be able to ship your items for less money than you were charged for shipping, we will issue a "store credit" for you to use on your next order for any savings in excess of $1.00.

All shipments are via either the United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS). Our standard shipping method within the continental United States is USPS. Whenever possible, items will be shipped via Priority Mail. When your order is ready to ship, it generally takes 4-7 business days for delivery. We’re sorry, but we are unable to deliver on weekends or major national holidays. Oversized and overweight packages may incur additional charges and service restrictions. Orders going to Hawaii & Alaska may incur additional shipping charges. Customers will be contacted within 1-3 business days for approval prior to shipping.

You may also choose to upgrade for faster delivery for an additional charge. Please send us an email should you require expedited delivery.

We are unable to ship to APO, FPO and PO boxes.

For orders up to $40, shipping is $8

For orders up to $41 to $80, shipping is $12

For orders up to $81-$150, shipping is $16

For orders up to $151-$300, shipping is $21

For orders up to $301 to $500, shipping is $25

For orders up to $501 to $800, shipping is $35

For orders over $800, shipping within the continental United States is FREE

Shipping Costs for Furniture, Beds & Oversized Items

Shipping and handling for all beds, furniture and other oversized items may require additional shipping charges. After placing your order for furniture or a bed, we will contact you if there will be any additional shipping fees.

Shipping to a P.O. Box

You must provide us with a valid residential address (No P.O. Boxes please) in order to ship your order.

Gift Wrap

Gift wrapping is not offered at this time.

International Shipping

International shipping is not offered at this time with the exception of Canada.

Items Shipped by a Third Party

Some items may be shipped directly from a product manufacturer or by a third party. You may receive separate shipments of your order. If this occurs, there may be additional handling fees for those items shipped from our suppliers. You will be notified at time of ordering.

Sales tax

mykittysplace.com is required by law to charge appropriate sales tax for orders which ship to addresses within the state of Illinois.

Returns

Your complete satisfaction is our top priority. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please return it within 7 days of receipt and we'll exchange it or refund your purchase price. Please note that buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Item should be returned in original condition and packaging. For any item that appears to have been used or broken, we will give you an online store credit to be used at any time.
