Approximate First Year Costs:

Keep in mind that this doesn't even take into account lint brushes/rollers and what you'll need to keep a clean household with a cat or the furnishings you may need to replace if your cat hasn't been declawed.

Some apartments and homeowners associations charge extra if you have a pet so don't forget to ask about this first before bringing a cat home.

We hope you know that we are not trying to discourage you from getting a cat . . .

We are just encouraging you to be a responsible pet owner. Thank you.

Note:  All costs are best estimates and could vary widely.
